🧩 Product Overview

ParkPlus is the central parking management platform used by the City of Calgary’s Parking Authority, powering all core services across the municipality’s parking ecosystem.

This includes:

  • ✅ MyParking Mobile App

  • ✅ Monthly Contract Management System

  • ✅ FlexPass (Flexible Pass System)

  • ✅ Online Payment Portals

  • ✅ Parking Machine Integrations

  • ✅ BITS Enforcement System

  • ✅ Ticketing, Citing, and Legal Escalation Modules

ParkPlus serves as the source of truth across systems, syncing data across enforcement, payments, reservations, and customer records, while integrating with third-party parking tools and corporate portals.

🛠️ My Role & Impact

As the platform product lead, I managed both core operations and the future roadmap of ParkPlus, with a strong focus on modernizing infrastructure, improving interoperability, and enabling commercial scalability.

Key contributions:

  • 🧩 Led platform modernization strategy to support scalable, flexible integrations with external vendors & municipal clients.

  • 🔁 Positioned ParkPlus as an integration-friendly system—allowing third-party payment apps, enforcement platforms, and customer tools to plug in seamlessly.

  • 🌐 Delivered third-party integrations for enterprise/corporate clients using ParkPlus-linked SaaS solutions.

  • 🏙️ Successfully implemented ParkPlus for two new municipalities in Alberta and British Columbia, expanding its adoption outside Calgary.

  • 📈 Established ParkPlus as a master orchestration layer in the larger parking ecosystem, handling cross-channel data flow, policy enforcement, and audit tracking.
